Michele Borbee has been involved with horses from a young age. She started taking lessons as a child and her love for horses grew over the years. Working as a groom through high school, her passion for the industry grew which led to her decision to attend Morrisville State College.
She graduated in 2015 with an Associate in Applied Science in Equine Science and a Bachelors in Equine Science Business Management. While attending MSC, Michele was an active member of the IHSA Hunt Seat Riding team where she competed in multiple competitions including IHSA Zone 3 regionals during her sophomore year.
After Graduation Michele worked as a trainer at Ascot Farm in Miami, Florida before moving back to New York where she found employment at New York Equine. After working in different parts of the equine industry, Michele believes she has found her niche at New York Equine and looks forward growing with the practice over the years to come.
Kelsey comes to us with an extensive therapeutic horseback riding background and a love for the rescue and rehabilitation of horses. Her journey with horses began at the age of 15 as a volunteer with HorseAbility, a local center that specializes in Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies. After years of volunteering and interning, Kelsey became a Certified PATH Intl. Registered Level Therapeutic Riding Instructor. Kelsey experienced rescue and rehabilitation in an intense 4 month internship with Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Maryland where she tended to equines in critical care alongside animal control. That is when her love and interest for the veterinary care was sparked. Kelsey is so excited to join the team and the equine veterinary industry.
