Pro-Stride uses your horse’s own blood to create anti-inflammatory proteins. These proteins are injected into your horse’s joints to relieve discomfort and inflammation in high motion joints. It is a natural alternative to cortisone injections.

The Pro-Stride APS device processes the horses own blood at the point-of-care by first isolating platelets and white blood cells in a small volume of plasma then further concentrating these components with desiccating beads. This differs from IRAP because the entire process can be done stall-side, so there is no need for additional appointments for injections. Another benefit is that Pro-Stride is injected only once, whereas with IRAP, we would do injections once weekly for 3 weeks. This saves money and time. It is a highly effective and natural way to treat joint discomfort.
